Private day trip to Champagne from Paris. Discover the rare and exceptional. Meticulously crafted Champagne experiences that transcend the ordinary: our Not Your Average Champagne Tour offers connoisseurs and beginners alike the chance to taste, explore, and discover the intimate world of small producers and hidden gems of Champagne. Throughout the day we will be exploring higher-level Champagne, discussing and tasting the Grand Crus, meeting growers, enjoying a lunch together, and diving into the rare and niche elements of Champagne that makes it so truly special. Off-the-beaten-path and offering an in-depth view and experience of Champagne rarely seen by visitors, this tour is private and exclusive to our group, meaning no other tours groups will be a part of the experiences with the growers or the houses.

This tour departs from your hotel/accommodations in Paris and ends at the same location. In total, the duration of this experience is 10 hours from 8:00 until 18:00.

Adults of 18+ are able to participate and young adults of 16+ may join but cannot participate in the tasting portions of this tour.

Persons with limited mobility are welcome, although it is not advised.
1. Mailly-Champagne, France (Duration: 35 min)

Our first stop is in the Grand Cru of Mailly where we will head directly to the vines to meet a grower.

We will learn about the intricacies of this particular terroir, talk about the vines and the history of the parcels, and enjoy a glass of Grand Cru from the very vines we are standing in.

2. Avenue de Champagne, Épernay, France (Duration: 35 min)

A short walk down the Avenue de Champagne, the most famous street in the region, we will learn why it's so important, and have time to take pictures and discuss the large Champagne houses that line the Avenue.

3. Centre Ville, Épernay, France (Duration: 90 min)

In the town at the heart of Champagne, we will have lunch at a quaint bistro, food + bottled water and soft drinks are included.

Chouilly, Marne, France (Duration: 60 min)

Making our way to the town of Chouilly Grand Cru, we will have a full tasting of four Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru with the highly-regarded Champagne house’s winemaker (or member of his team, depending on his availability).

5. Châtillon-sur-Marne, France (Duration: 30 min)

Finally we find ourselves at one of the highest points in Champagne to taste 2 very unique bottles and say farewell to the day with a stunning view.

* Alcoholic beverages - Champagne is of course included in all tastings and activities, excluding the walk down the Avenue de Champagne and lunch.

* Champagne expert - One of our incredibly passionate and champagne-obsessed members of our team will be leading this experience and present for the duration of the journey.

Cancellation policy:
* For a full refund, please e-mail or call us at least 72 hours before the start time of the tour.
* Senfineco Paris reserves the right to deny any cancellation request and withhold the entire sum of money under 72 hours advanced notice.

We reserve the right to cancel any tour, providing a full refund, under any of the following conditions:
* Inclement weather
* Unsafe conditions (civil unrest, large protests, etc.)
* Physical emergency
* Cancellations on our supplier end
* Any other force majeur
