Returns and Refunds Policy
This policy applies to purchases made from Senfineco. Certain rights described below apply specifically to customers located in the European Union.
EU Right of Withdrawal for Online Product Purchases
If you are a consumer located in the European Union and you purchase physical products from us online, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period begins from the day you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods. If your order contains several products delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins from the day you receive the last product.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us before the end of the 14-day period. You may do this through the electronic withdrawal function available on our website, where applicable, or by contacting us at contact@senfineco-paris.com with your name, order number, and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.
After exercising your right of withdrawal, you must return the products to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which you informed us of your decision to withdraw. Unless otherwise required by law, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Returned products must be sent back in their original condition and properly protected for transport. You may be responsible for any loss in value caused by handling the products beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and condition. Opened, damaged, consumed, or partially consumed bottles cannot be refunded, except where required by law.
Refunds for EU Withdrawals
When the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, we will refund the eligible amounts paid, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
For product purchases, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned products or until you have provided proof that the products have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise. We are not required to refund additional delivery costs if you chose a delivery method more expensive than the standard delivery option offered at checkout.
Private Champagne Experience and Not Your Average Champagne Tour
The EU 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to bookings for our Private Champagne Experience or Not Your Average Champagne Tour when these services are booked for a specific date or period.
These experiences are leisure and service activities provided on a determined date or during a determined period. As such, they are excluded from the statutory EU right of withdrawal.
Our commercial cancellation policy still applies:
Private Champagne Experience: eligible for a full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking time.
Not Your Average Champagne Tour: eligible for a full refund if cancelled at least 72 hours before the scheduled tour time.
After these cancellation windows, bookings are non-refundable, except where required by law or where Senfineco is unable to provide the booked service.
Damages, Defects, or Wrong Items
Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If an item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately at contact@senfineco-paris.com.
Please include your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photos of the damaged, defective, or incorrect item and its packaging. We will evaluate the issue and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, refund, or another suitable solution.
This section is separate from the EU right of withdrawal and does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
In-Store Purchases
For purchases made directly in our store, all sales are final unless the product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise covered by applicable statutory consumer protections.
